Cornerstone Building and Restoration Services’ knowledgeable estimating department evaluates plans and specifications, coordinates with the document design team, previews construction site conditions and develops an accurate competitive bid. Our pre-construction services also include budgeting, value engineering, schedules and feasibility studies.
Cornerstone Building and Restoration Services assigns project team members based upon their skills and experience. We select subcontractors based upon multiple criteria including quality of workmanship, work ethic and bid price.
Prior to the start of construction, our project team will meet with the design team and the client to review the documents and specifications, schedule, site set-up, rules and regulations and general project information. The project team also holds weekly or bi-weekly progress meetings depending upon the length of and complexity of the project. And we maintain complete project records in both electronic and paper form.
Upon substantial completion of the project, Cornerstone Building and Restoration Services’ project team walks the project with the owner and/or design team. During the walk through, the owner/design team points out any smaller items that still need to be completed to everyone’s satisfaction and once the punch list is completed, the job is considered 100% complete.
